CREAM PUFF RING 
In medium saucepan boil:

1 c. water
1 stick butter

Reduce heat to low. Add:

1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix fast over heat until dough leaves sides of pan. Let cool.

Add 4 eggs (one at a time) beating until dough is smooth. (Eggs should be room temperature.)

Grease and flour cookie sheet. Make 7 inch circle. Use a rounded tablespoon of dough, making the circle overlapping. Bake at 400 degrees, 40 minutes. Turn oven off, leaving ring in oven 15 minutes more.

FILLING:

1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 1/2 c. milk

Mix until firm. Put aside.

Beat 1 pint (16 ounce) of whipping cream or heavy cream until firm. Mix pudding and cream together. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Cut ring in half. Put cream mix in ring and put top on.
