Grease 9 x 13 inch cake pan.

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 (16-20 oz.) can apple pie filling

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Blend well and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or test with toothpick.

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix well and spread on cooled cake. Option: 3/4 cup chopped nuts may be added to cake before baking.
