2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream together shortening, sugar and egg; mix flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt together then combine with wet mixture. Mix thoroughly. Chill dough. Roll into balls size of walnuts and roll into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
