FROZEN CRANBERRY SALAD | |
1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce 3 tsp. lemon juice 1 c. whipping cream, whipped 1/4 c. real mayonnaise 1/2 c. confectioners sugar 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. walnuts, chopped Combine first 2 ingredients. Mash with fork. Pour into greased pan or mold. Mix remaining ingredients, pour over cranberry mixture and freeze for 8 hours. Cut in squares or unmold. Serve on lettuce. Serves 6 to 8. Whip cream to a medium consistency (soft piles, not soft peaks) if it is to be blended with a gelatin mixture. |
