1 c. granulated sugar
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
4 eggs
1 (13 to 16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well. Add chocolate syrup, flour and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan for 20 minutes. Cool. Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
