DEVIL DOGS 
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

In bowl cram Crisco, sugar, egg, then add cocoa. Mix balance of dry ingredients and add milk. Next all vanilla. Then mix all together. Drop by teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 5 minutes in 425 degree oven.

Filling:
3/4 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
1/2 jar marshmallow fluff
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat well. Keep covered to keep soft.
