1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening, sugar and cocoa; add egg - sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with milk and vanilla to shortening mix. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 425 degrees for 5-7 minutes (drop by teaspoon).

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 jar marshmallow
1/2 tsp. vanilla
