2 c. brown sugar
1 egg white
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil sugar and water to soft ball stage. Beat egg whites. Pour sugar mix over egg white and beat at same time. Add vanilla and beat until thickened. Drop onto wax paper.
