ORIENTAL HAMBURGER 
1 med. onion, sliced
1 lb. hamburger
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 can bean sprouts, drained
1 c. water chestnuts, sliced (5 oz.), 3/4 c.
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. dark molasses
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water

Saute onion and beef in oil until browned. Add bean sprouts, water chestnuts, soy sauce, 1/3 cup water and molasses. Cook 5 minutes. Add mixture - water and cornstarch; bring to boil for 1 minute. Salt to taste. Serve on buns. Serves 8.
