STEAK COUNTRY STYLE | |
2 lbs. round steak, tenderized 2 med. onions, sliced Seasoned flour 1/2 lb. peeled mushrooms, sliced 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. grated cheese 1 tsp. salt Dash pepper 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/2 c. sour cream Cut steak into serving pieces and dredge in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. melt 1/4 cup butter in large skillet and add onion and mushrooms. Cook until onions are tender and mushrooms are slightly browned. Remove onion and mushrooms from pan or push to one side. Add remaining 1/4 cup butter and brown steak on both sides. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover skillet and cook until meat is tender enough to cut with a fork. Serves 6. |
