“JANIS' EASY SMOTHERED STEAK” IS IN:

JANIS' EASY SMOTHERED STEAK 
This is so easy and is one of our family's favorites plus it smells great cooking!

1 to 1-1/2 lb. beef cubed steak or thin round steak (bone in or out)
1 env. onion soup mix (Lipton)
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (including liquid)
1 large cooking bag

Prepare cooking bag as instructed; place meat in bag. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix evenly over meat. Pour mushrooms with liquid over mixture and seal bag.

Bake at 325°F for 1 1/2 hours or until tender and bubbly.

Note: Round steak takes a little longer to cook to tenderness.
