HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
1 sm. bag frozen hash brown potatoes, loose
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 onion, chopped
16 oz. carton sour cream
Corn flakes
Butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together has brown, cream of mushroom soup, onion, and sour cream. Bake in 325 degree oven approximately 30 minutes. Remove and crunch corn flakes (in hand) over top to cover well. Pat with butter. Return to oven about 15 more minutes. This is great for cookouts with chicken, steak or ribs!
