1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped, peeled apples
2 c. flour
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. shredded coconut

Mix oil and sugar; beat well. Add eggs. Sift flour, soda, and salt together and blend into oil mixture. Beat thoroughly. (Batter will be very thick.) Add apples and nuts. Bake in 9"x13" pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Frost with following.

CREAM CHEESE ICING:

4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 box confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend all together and spread on cooled cake.
