GRANDMA HULL'S CINNAMON APPLES 
Peel and quarter baking apples (no Delicious).

SYRUP:

2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/2 c. cinnamon drops (cinnamon candies)

Bring syrup to a boil; cook until thin syrup. Drop in apple sections and cook; watch carefully so they do not overcook.
