COCONUT MACAROONS 
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
2/3 c. sugar
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut

Grease a cookie sheet. Beat egg whites, vanilla and salt until it forms a soft peak. Fold in coconut. Drop from a teaspoon, 1 1/2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 325 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Makes about 20 to 24 cookies.
