CHOCOLATE COOKIE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour (self-rising)
3/4 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. water
2 sticks butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla

Set first 6 ingredients aside. Boil water and butter. Add to first mixture. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla and put in greased 33 x 23-inch glass pan.

Bake at 350°F.

Icing:

5 tbsp. cocoa
5 tbsp. buttermilk
1 stick butter
1 lb. powdered sugar

Bring all ingredients to a boil. Add powdered sugar to boiled mixture. Mix well. Spread over cake while still hot.
