CORN BEEF AND CABBAGE 
5 QUARTS:

2 pkg. corn beef
2 lg. heads cabbage
4 cans beef broth
2 cans water
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
10-15 carrots, sliced
2-3 lg. onions, diced
1 minced garlic clove
Salt and pepper to taste

2.5 QUARTS:

1 pkg. corn beef
1 head cabbage
2 cans beef broth
1 can water
5-10 carrots, sliced
2 lg. onions, diced
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 minced garlic clove
Salt and pepper to taste

You can thicken broth with cornstarch if you wish just before serving.

Place ingredients in size of crock pot of choice, one at a time, starting with meat, then cabbage. At this point it is all up to you. Put lid on crock pot. Turn heat temperature to low. This meal is always best 24 hours later but is ready to serve in 8 hours.
