HOT POTATO SALAD 
1/2 lb. bacon
1/3 c. vinegar plus water to make 1/2 c.
1 slightly beaten egg
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 c. diced potatoes (cooked)
1/2 c. chopped onion

Cook bacon crisp; crumble. Combine 1/3 c. bacon drippings with next 5 ingredients. Heat and stir till thickened. Add potatoes, onion, bacon, toss and heat thoroughly.

Serves 6 - 8.
