HOT AND SPICY POTATO SALAD | |
5 lb. white potatoes 5 eggs 1 onion 1/2 green pepper 1 sm. jar pickled relish 1 1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise 2 tbsp. yellow mustard 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. celery salt 1 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 2 tbsp. paprika 1 tsp. onion powder Boil white potatoes (with skin) and eggs. Let potatoes cool down or put in freezer for 20-25 minutes. Remove skins after cool. Cut potatoes into medium size pieces. Dice eggs, green peppers, onions and celery in very large bowl. Add potatoes, pickled relish, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, celery salt, crushed red pepper, parsley flakes, paprika, and onions powder. Stir well. Taste to see if more ingredients are needed. Then put in Hellmann's mayonnaise and yellow mustard. OPTIONAL: Garnished with egg slices, paprika, and parsley flakes. May be served immediately or refrigerate. NOTE: The longer it sets, the better it tastes! Enjoy!! |
