WHITE CHRISTMAS PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 env. unflavored gelatin
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded coconut
1 3/4 c. milk
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
(Berries) optional topping when served.

Mix first 4 ingredients. Cook over medium heat, gradually stir in milk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Place pan in cold water. Cool until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon.

Blend in vanilla and almond flavoring. Make a meringue of 3 egg whites, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1/2 cup sugar. Fold cooked mixture into the meringue. Then fold 1/2 cup whipped cream. Mix coconut into mixture. Put into 9 inch pie shell and chill.
