AUTUMN APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. chopped apples

Combine oil, sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, salt, soda, and gradually add to egg mixture. Stir in vanilla, nuts, and apples. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Frost.

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
Powdered sugar

Combine butter, brown sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil 2 to 3 minutes. Cool. Drizzle over cake. NOTE: You may need to add a small amount of powdered sugar to reach the desired consistency.
