SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 2 1/2 c. sugar 6 eggs 1/4 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. vanilla 3 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. sour cream Melt butter and pour into a large mixing bowl. Stir in sugar, eggs, sour cream, baking soda and vanilla, in that order. When this mixture is smooth, gradually add flour. Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60-75 minutes. Cake is done when toothpick or knife inserted into thickest part comes out clean. Turn out onto cake plate when done. |
