SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract

Cream butter; add sugar, small amounts at a time, beating well after each addition. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour with soda and add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in flavoring. Pour into well-greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until well done.
