1 c. sugar
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients until well mixed. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with a fork dipped in sugar to make a criss cross pattern. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly and remove to wire rack. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
