ROCK CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 tsp. flavoring
1/2 tsp. coloring

Stir until boiling. Do not stir after boiling. Bring to hard stage. Add color before pouring into a greased pan. Let harden and crack to eat.
