2 c. white sugar
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. flavoring
2/3 c. white syrup

Cook to hard crack stage (300 degrees). When done add coloring and flavoring as desired. Pour into well buttered cookie sheet and let cool. Crack. Drop it in a bowl of powdered sugar.
