CREAM CHEESE FUDGE 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. cream or milk
4 c. confectioners' sugar
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. rum (opt.)
Dash of salt
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts, divided

Beat cheese and cream until smooth. Gradually beat in sugar, then blend in chocolate. Stir in vanilla, rum, salt and 1 cup nuts. Press into lightly buttered square pan and cover with remaining nuts. Mark in 64 pieces about 1" square and chill until firm enough to cut, about 15 minutes. Makes 1 pound.
