CANNED OKRA TO FRY 
1 gal. okra, cut
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. salt
water

Put okra, vinegar and salt into large pan. Put just enough water to cover okra. Bring to a boil. Boil for 6 minutes, covered. Pack into sterilized jars and seal. You don't need to process.

When you get ready to fry, rinse and drain in colander, then roll in meal and fry.
