MOM'S RAW APPLE CAKE 
1 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. chopped apples
3 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut

Cream sugar and oil; add eggs. Mix flour and cinnamon, add to egg mixture. Add nuts, coconut and apples. Pour into a greased and lightly floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

ICING:

1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter

Bring to a boil, then boil for 5 minutes. Drizzle over cake.
