MONKEY BREAD 
2 c. milk
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. sugar
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. salt
1 c. potato water
6 c. flour
Butter, melted

Peel and cube 1 potato and cook until very soft in 1 1/4 cups water. Mash potato in water.

Heat milk, oil and sugar; cook to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water. Combine milk and yeast mixtures. Add eggs, salt and potato water. Add flour and mix well. Turn into greased bowl and grease top. Cover with tea towel and let rise in warm place. To make into monkey bread loaf, punch dough down, roll in flour, pinch off pieces and roll into 1 1/2" oblong shapes. Dip each into melted butter. Lay in greased and floured ring mold or bundt pan as you would stack bricks. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes or until brown.
