PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. beef or sirloin steak
2 tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 1/2 c. water
2 med. onions
2 green peppers
2 tbsp. corn starch
Rice

Cut steak into small cubes or strips and brown in shortening. Add soy sauce and water. Simmer 10 minutes. Then add onions and peppers which have been cut into pieces. Simmer until tender. Thicken with corn starch and serve over cooked rice.
