FROSTED PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/3 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

FROSTING:

1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

In a large bowl, stir together peanut butter and butter until creamy. Gradually beat in sugars. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into peanut butter mixture. Spread batter in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in the pan.

For Frosting: Beat together creamy peanut butter and vanilla. Beat in 2 tablespoons milk and 1 cup powdered sugar until smooth. Gradually beat in remaining sugar and milk until smooth. Use to frost cooled peanut butter bars. Makes 24 pieces.
