RED BEANS, CREOLE STYLE 
1 lb. dry red beans
1 sm. onion
1/2 sm. green pepper
6 strips bacon, cooked and broken
1 tsp. tomato paste

Wash beans. Cover with cool water in large pot. Dice onion and green pepper; saute in bacon fat. Add to beans with other ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook slowly until tender.
