CRANBERRY SWIRL COFFEE CAKE | |
1/4 lb. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. nuts (optional) 1 can whole cranberry sauce 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 pt. sour cream 1 tsp. almond flavoring Cream butter and sugar. Add unbeaten eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients, flavoring and sour cream. Grease tube pan. Layer batter and cranberry sauce with sauce on top. Add nuts. Bake at 350°F for 55 minutes. Cool in pan 20 minutes. Topping: 3/4 c. confectioners sugar 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1 tbsp. warm water Drizzle over cake. |
