CRANBERRY APPLE CRISP 
3 c. cranberries
2 lg. apples, unpeeled, cored and sliced thin
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. reg. or quick oats
1/2 c. nuts, optional
3 tbsp. butter, melted

In large bowl combine cranberries, apples, sugar, cinnamon and 1 tbsp. of flour. Transfer mixture to a greased 6 cup shallow baking dish.

In the same bowl (no need to wash it) combine remaining 3 tbsp. of flour with the brown sugar, oats and nuts. Stir in melted butter and mix well. Mixture should be crumbly. Sprinkle oat mixture over fruit mixture. Bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8.
