GERMAN HAZEL NUT CAKE 
1 dozen lg. eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. blanched almonds
3 c. hazel nuts (chestnuts)

NO FLOUR. Grind nuts 3 times through food chopper. Separate eggs. Beat yolks of eggs and sugar a little at a time, beat for 15 minutes until mixture looks lemon color. Add nuts, mix in with spoon thoroughly. Add 1/2 of beaten egg whites then fold in other 1/2 of egg whites. Put in greased loaf pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.
