PEAR HONEY 
8 ripe pears (4 cups)
4 c. sugar
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple

Cook pears and sugar until sugar melts; simmer 45 minutes. Add pineapple; cook 5 minutes longer. Spoon into hot jars. Process in hot water bath 10 minutes. Yield: 6 half pints.
