NORWEGIAN MEAT BALLS 
1 lb. pork, ground
1 1/2 lbs. round steak, ground
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 egg
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. cream or milk

Mix ground meats with rest of ingredients. Drop by teaspoons into skillet which has about 3 tablespoons melted butter. Brown meat balls--you'll have 2 or 3 skillets of meatballs. Remove them to a large casserole as they are browned on both sides.

Into the drippings add 2 tablespoons of flour. Stir rapidly to avoid lumping or burning. Add 3 cups of milk or cream and stir. Pour this mixture over meat balls and bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
