2 c. flour 1 c. butter 3/4 c. sour cream 1 egg yolk Mix shortening as for pie crust. Add egg yolk and sour cream. Mix all together, knead until dough adheres well together. Refrigerate overnight. Roll a small portion at a time in granulated sugar and 4x sugar (mixed). Cut in circles or squares, fill with nut filling or poppyseed, fruit, etc. and paste together. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until light brown. Roll in sugar mixture when removing from oven. |
