2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients in bowl; cut in shortening. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. Roll out in floured board and cut with cookie cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes.
