2 c. plain flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter or shortening
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients together and cut in butter. Add eggs and vanilla and mix. Roll out very thin on floured board and cut with floured cookie cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 9 to 12 minutes. 4 dozen.
