APPLE STRUDEL 
3 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
3-4 thinly sliced apples
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter

ICING:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk

Combine and mix all ingredients. Roll half of dough and place on cookie sheet. Peel and slice apples (very thin) enough to spread evenly over crust.

Mix together cornstarch, cinnamon, white sugar and brown sugar. Spread evenly over apples (cut up 1 stick of butter over top). Roll out other half crust and put over apples. Do not cut air holes in crust until after you put crust in place, then cut completely across top layer about 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees until as brown as you like.

Mix 1 cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons milk. Pour over top as soon as you take out of the oven.
