EASY FIVE HOUR STEW 
2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut in 1 1/2 inch cubes
2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tbsp. tapioca
2 to 4 sm. onions
6 carrots, cut up
5 to 6 potatoes, cut up
1 stalk celery, cut up
Green pepper (optional)
3/4 c. tomato or V-8 juice

Place meat in pan. Mix together tapioca and salt. Sprinkle over meat. Add vegetables. Add 3/4 cup juice; NO MORE!! Cover with foil. Seal tightly. No peeking!! Bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. The juices form a tasty gravy and the tapioca slightly thickens it.
