SO EASY OVEN STEW 
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. stew meat
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can water (or beer or wine)
2 onions, cut up
2 ribs celery, cut up
2 med. potatoes, cut up
2-3 carrots, cut up
1 tsp. or more salt, pepper, marjoram and basil

Cut all vegetables fairly uniform in size.

Simply mix all ingredients together. (No need to brown meat.) Turn into 2 1/2 - 3 quart casserole dish. Cover and bake for 3-4 hours at 325 degrees. Check and stir occasionally. Serve with homemade biscuits or a loaf of French bread. (Serves about 6.)
