SCOTTISH CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. pecans
1 c. shredded coconut

Sift together flour and sugar; set aside. Mix together next 4 ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil. Mix with flour and sugar. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

ICING: Bring butter, cocoa, and milk to rapid boil in small saucepan. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, pecans, and coconut. Pour over hot cake.
