1 lb. butter 1 lb. peanut butter (smooth) 2 boxes 10X sugar (powdered) 2 bags (lg., 1 lb.) chocolate bits 1/4 bar paraffin wax (optional) Melt butters (regular and peanut butter) together stirring continuously. Stir in sugar until syrup will form a ball when a drop is placed in cold water. Chill mixture overnight (or at least 4 hours). Melt 2 bags of chocolate bits with 1/4 bar of paraffin wax (use a double boiler or microwave). Take the cold peanut butter mixture and form small balls (tablespoon of mixture each approximately). Dip peanut butter balls in melted chocolate. Place on wax paper, then refrigerate. Makes about 75 peanut butter balls. |
