HOT BACON DRESSING 
1/4 lb. bacon
1/2 sm. onion, finely chopped
1/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. brown sugar
Salt
Pepper

Cut bacon into 1/4-inch pieces and fry until crisp. Remove to paper towel. Add onion and cook over low heat until tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. Serve over hot vegetable. We like this over broccoli.
