1/2 lb. bacon
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. flour

Fry bacon. Retain 2 tablespoons grease. Mix and boil the following; water, vinegar, sugar, flour, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, stirring constantly. Add bacon grease last. Top with crumbled bacon. Use dressing with one large head lettuce.
