DUTCH APPLE BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. milk
1 c. peeled, cored, chopped apples

Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat. Combine flour, salt and soda and add alternately with milk. Fold in chopped apples. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in loaf comes out clean. Makes 1 loaf.
