DUTCH APPLE BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. apples, chopped

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour into greased 9x5x3 loaf pan.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
